As an example of Microsoft OS Windows XP：
(1)Create a network connection：
「Start」→「Control」→「Network connection」→「Create a new connection」

(2)New connection wizard：Click「Next」

(3)New Connection Wizard--Network Connection Type：
Click 「Connect to the network at my workplace」→「Next」

(4)New Connection Wizard--Network Connection：
Click 「Virtual Private Network connection」→Click「Next」

(5)New Connection Wizard--Connection Name：Please input：NTU VPN→「Next」

(6)New Connection Wizard--Public Network：
Click「Do not dial the initial connection」→Click「Next」

(7)New Connection Wizard--Select VPN server：
At the field「Host name or IP address」,input：140.112.25.65→Click「Next」

(8)Finish 「New Connection Wizard」：Click「Finish」

(9)Connect to NTU VPN：as the picture,click「Properties」

(10)Set the NTU VPN properties：
1.Click「security」
2.Select「Advance」
3.Click「settings」

1.Select「Optional encryption(connect even if no encryption)」
2 .Select「Allow these protocols」、
select 「unencrypted password(PAP)」
select 「Shiva Password Authentication Protocol(SPAP)(S)」
3.Select「Microsoft CHAP (MS-CHAP)(M)」
4.Select「Microsoft CHAP 版本 2 (MS-CHAP2)(I)」
5. Click「OK」

(12)Click「Yes」

(13) Click「OK」

(14)Connect to NTU VPN：as the following steps，
1.Input the NTUCC Email account and password
2.Select「Save this user name and password for the following users」
3.Click「Connect」→Finish the settings。
