本校宿網管理之範圍與職責

The Responsibility Range of NTU Dormitory Network


一直以來，同學對於本校宿舍網路的使用與管理有諸多疑問，以下簡單說明本校宿網管理之範圍與職責。

臺大學生宿舍的建置由總務處建設、學務處住宿組負責行政管理。

目前宿舍類型可分為兩種：臺大自建的學生宿舍以及以BOT方式委外興建的學生宿舍。

臺大學生宿舍則包含所有男女生宿舍共21棟，BOT的館舍目前有太子興建的長興宿舍及水源宿舍共2區。

臺大自建的宿舍則由計資中心負責維護宿舍內的網路設備及管理網路註冊管理系統，由學務處住宿組主政負責各宿舍網管同學的聘任與宿舍內網路維護。

BOT太子興建的學生宿舍在宿舍網路之建置與管理是由興建廠商負責，例如太子建設負責維護太子學舍內部的網路設備及管理網路註冊管理系統，並且由太子建設自行指派宿舍網管人員進行管理；計資中心負責BOT太子學舍與校總區銜接的光纖與網路設備。

為 提供宿舍同學更好的網路使用，計資中心已擬定『臺灣大學學生宿舍網路問題檢查』標準處理作業程序（SOP）給臺大自建學生宿舍各網管人員及宿舍輔導員。為 提高問題處理效率，SOP基本上分成一線及二線，同學有宿舍網路使用問題時，可以先連絡一線的各宿舍網管人員協助處理。宿網管理人員如不能處理時，會通知 計資中心作二線的處理。

BOT太子學舍的同學若有網路問題時，請先連絡宿舍一樓服務台的一線資訊工讀生報修，若一線資訊工讀生無法處理時則會轉給太子建設資訊部的二線網管人員為您處裡。 目前太子學舍的一線資訊工讀生是太子聘請，二線網管是太子建設的資訊部人員。

Recently, students have some questions about NTU dorm network maintenance and management, so we simply introduce the responsibilty range of NTU dorm network management.

In fact, the dorm construction of NTU is performed by the office of general affairs and managed by the student housing service division.
Now there are two categories of dorm : NTU-built student dormitory and BOT student dormitory.

The network devices and IP register system in NTU-built student dorm are maintained by NTU computer and information center, and the network maintenance  is maintained by dorm network managers hired by NTU student housing service division.

The management and maintenance of BOT student dormitory are performed by Prince corporation instead of NTU, so  the network devices and register system in BOT dorms are maintained by Prince corporation. Instead, NTU is just responsible for the network devices linked to BOT dorms in NTU engine room.

For better network quality  in dorms, computer and information center of NTU make a SOP of dorm network troubleshooting for each network manager and resident director. In order to improving efficency, people can ask the prior dorm network manager when problem happen. If your probelm still cannot be solved, the network manager would ask computer and informartion center for help.

When people in BOT dorm have any network problem, asking the first-line network manager at service counter firstly. If your problem still cannot be solved, they would inform the second-line information manager of Prince corporation. Besides all the network managers are hired by Prince corporation.
